3. Casting process control

A. Casting temperature: The casting temperature needs to be controlled within an appropriate range to ensure that the melt can flow smoothly into the sand mold and form a good crystal structure.

B.Casting speed and casting time: Casting speed and casting time are also important factors affecting the quality of castings. Too fast casting speed may lead to uneven distribution of the melt, resulting in pores and shrinkage holes; too long casting time may increase the risk of oxidation and contamination of the melt.

4.Subsequent processing

After casting, the casting needs to be annealed to eliminate internal stress, improve density and stability. Annealing is usually carried out in an insulated box or tunnel kiln, and the internal structure of the casting is brought to the best state by slow cooling.
