The selection of refractory materials for the melting pool of horseshoe flame furnace sodium calcium (bottles, utensils, light bulbs, fluorescent lamps) glass tank furnace is as follows
Melting pool:
Pool wall: use temperature 1400~1600℃, select AZS-33 brick TC. Selection basis: good corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance for molten glass.
Pool wall with lower temperature: use temperature <1400℃, select fused zirconium mullite brick. Selection basis: good corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance for molten glass.
Pool bottom paving bricks: use temperature 1300∽1500℃, select fused AZS-33# bricks. Selection basis: good corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance for molten glass.
Pool bottom: use temperature <1400℃, select clay bricks or high-alumina bricks.
Feeding port: Use temperature 1400~1500℃, choose fused AZS-36# brick or fused AZS-41# brick. Selection basis: Strong corrosion resistance to glass
Bubble part: Use temperature 14001500℃, choose fused AZS-41# brick. Selection basis: This brick is suitable for the strongest corrosion parts.
Electrode part: Use temperature 1400, 1600℃℃, choose fused AZS-41#.
Melting pool upper structure: Feeding port upper part: Use temperature 1400~1500℃, choose fused AZS-36# brick. Selection basis: Resistant to flying material corrosion, and also has high corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance to flame impact.
Flame mouth: Use temperature 1500~1650℃, choose fused AZS-33# or 41#. Selection basis: Resistant to flying material corrosion and flame impact.
Small furnace channel (top and side walls): use temperature 1450∽1600℃, choose fused β-A1203 or high-quality silica bricks. Selection basis: no adhesion of flying materials, good resistance to alkali gas corrosion.
Lattice wall: use temperature 1400-1600℃, choose fused α-A1203 bricks or fused-AZS bricks.
Melting pool arch: use temperature 1300-1650℃, choose high-density silica bricks or fused AZS bricks.
Hook bricks, nozzle bricks: use temperature 1500-1650℃, choose fused AZS bricks.
