Chrome Corundum Bricks:
Chrome corundum brick mainly refers to the corundum refractory product containing Cr2O3. Using α-Al2O3 as main raw material, adding appropriate amount of chromium oxide powder and chromium corundum clinker fine powder, after forming process, the bricks will be sintered at high temperature. At high temperatures, Cr2O3 and Al2O3 form a continuous solid solution, so the high temperature performance of chromium corundum products is better than pure corundum products. In the most widely used chromium corundum products, the content of Cr2O3 is mostly in the range of 9%~15%. The main mineral composition is α-Al2O3-Cr2O3 solid solution. The secondary mineral composition is a small amount of composite spinel (or no composite spinel). The chromium oxide content in the chrome refractory brick is from 1% to 30%. There are two types: fused cast chromium corundum bricks and sintered chromium corundum bricks.

Scope of application:
In petrochemical industry, The chromium corundum bricks will be used in the gasification furnace. The bricks should be low silicon, low iron, low alkali, high purity, but also have high density and strength. It can be used as glass kiln lining, wire drawing glass flow hole cover brick and used for hot metal pretreatment device, waste incinerator, coal water slurry pressurized gasifier backing, carbon black furnace, steel rolling furnace sliding table, steel platform, and etc.
