Glass kilns are a melting device that must be owned by the glass manufacturing industry. In operation, the cooling air takes out the most heat in the output system heat, so in order to ensure production safety, we need to understand the common sense you need to know in the operation of glass kilns.
During operation, glass kilns need to use various fans such as pool wall fans, slag fans, hanging wall fans, etc. to cool certain key parts of the kiln to control its outer wall temperature within a reasonable range.
Due to the use of waste heat boilers, the exhaust temperature of its outlet is about 180℃, and the exhaust loss control is reasonable, but the utilization is not sufficient, and the remaining heat resources can still be further utilized to serve the enterprise.
The heat dissipation loss on the kiln surface is large. Because the melting temperature of glass liquid is very high, the requirements of glass kilns for refractory wall materials and thermal insulation materials are also very high. At present, the kiln uses lightweight thermal insulation materials commonly used in domestic glass kilns, but the thermal insulation effect is poor. It can be considered to use internationally advanced refractory wall materials and thermal insulation materials to reduce this heat loss.
From the perspective of energy saving, when overhauling the kiln, bricks with better refractory performance and new insulation materials should be selected to improve the heat resistance and insulation performance of these parts, reduce the use of cooling air, and greatly reduce this heat loss.
The second largest heat output in the heat output system of the glass kiln is the heat absorbed by the waste heat boiler. The float line has two waste heat boilers installed at the high-temperature flue gas outlet, and uses the discharged high-temperature flue gas to produce steam for production. This waste heat utilization method is very effective in improving the thermal efficiency of the kiln. The sensible heat loss of flue gas also accounts for a large proportion.
