Before replacing the flow channel bricks of the glass kiln,what preparations we need to make?

1. Determine the replacement part and prepare various bricks as needed, generally including: a set of flow channel side wall bricks and lip electric fusion bricks, a set of lip electric fusion brick pad bricks, a set of flow channel steel structure, and prefabricate the steel structure.

   
   

2. Cut the side wall bricks of the flow channel and the lip fused bricks into the steel structure of the flow channel for assembly. During assembly, the center line of the lip fused bricks should coincide with the center line of the steel structure, and the gap between the side wall bricks of the flow channel and the steel structure of the flow channel should be built with insulation bricks. After assembly, place them on the side of the pool wall for preheating and standby.

3. Prepare new flow channel cover bricks and regulating gate bricks to replace the old damaged ones. The flow channel cover bricks and the regulating gate bricks should be preheated in advance.

4. According to the size of the tin bath, make one vertical water bag and one horizontal water bag. The vertical water bag is used to isolate the convection of the tin bath from the outside world, prevent the hot air in the tin bath from overflowing, and improve the operating environment; the horizontal water bag is placed at the entrance of the tin bath to prevent debris from falling into the tin bath, and at the same time, it is used as an operating platform for operators.

5. Make preparations for heating and insulation of the tin bath, check the damage of the electric heating elements in the tin bath in advance, if there is more damage, prepare temporary auxiliary heating equipment for heating; make a mark on the center line of the structure to be replaced. Oil and loosen the bolts of the steel structure of the lip fused bricks to be replaced in advance.

6. Temporarily reinforce the steel structure of the corresponding part of the flow channel, add lifting points and apex points, prepare lifting equipment and wire ropes for lifting when replacing the lip fused bricks.

7. Prepare heating tools, including spray guns, hoses, liquefied petroleum gas or diesel, etc.

8. Bundle silicate insulation felt, crowbars, sledgehammers, flat shovels, portable grinding wheels, iron hook wrenches and other hot repair tools.

9. Clean up the debris on site, install night lighting equipment, ensure the needs of night construction, and equip fire-fighting equipment and facilities.
